Moments ago the blackout shades in the bedrooms were lifted to reveal the sun’s early ascent above the neighborhood rooftops. In the living room, the motorized solar shades rise with ease leaving behind a perfect projected silhouette of anything that stands in the sun’s way. Union Station is so close you feel as though you can reach out and touch it. Today, we have the Juliet balcony open yielding fresh air while the bells of an inbound train give way to a visual buzz of pedestrians moving swiftly to their destination. The kettle is atop the gas range and the aroma of fresh ground coffee beans punctuate the morning air. As we peruse the residence we can’t help but reflect on the characteristics that make Suite 1004 so special. Union Station, a historic icon, is omnipresent throughout the living area creating an intimate engagement with the beloved landmark.
