When designing an interior space its often easiest to pick a statement piece of furniture, fabric, lighting or work of art and design the final look around the foundation.
In the case of 1002, I did exactly that.
In the winter of 2018 I met with a client at her personal residence in LoHi and upon entering her living room my eye was immediately drawn to a fabulous diamond stitched ottoman in a rich chocolate brown leather.
“I have to have it!” I exclaimed.
Designed by Rodolfo Dordoni for Minotti the ottoman or pouf, as they call it, is strikingly elegant incorporating a number of elements (diamond-stitched leather, smooth leather and a glossy pewter zipper) that add visual interest to the living room without being too bombastic.
Great to the touch of bare feet, perfect for structured ancillary seating or a convenient resting place for your favorite edition of Cocktail Codex by Death & Co the pouf is one of my personal favorites both visually and texturally.
